How to Build a B2B SEO Roadmap

A 90-day framework for connecting technical foundations, commercial pages, content clusters, internal links, and conversion measurement.

Days 1–30: validate crawlability and measurement

Begin with canonical, hreflang, sitemap, redirect, robots, and status-code checks. Commercial content should be available in meaningful HTML, and the site should be secure, fast, accessible, and usable on mobile devices.

Connect Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools with conversion measurement. Track successful forms, email clicks, and service CTAs separately from page views.

Days 31–60: map search intent to target pages

Choose one primary target page for each commercial intent. Define the main topic, supporting subtopics, and internal links so similar pages do not compete for the same query cluster.

A page should do more than introduce a service. It should explain suitable use cases, scope, decision criteria, process, common questions, and verifiable work examples.

Days 61–90: publish content clusters and internal links

Guides should not duplicate sales pages. They should answer decision, planning, risk, cost, and implementation questions, then link to the relevant commercial page in a useful context.

Anchor text should tell readers what they will find next. Avoid repetitive linking and keyword stuffing.

Evaluate query, conversion, and sales data together

Impressions and rankings are not sufficient measures of success. Track whether organic visits contribute to qualified inquiries, opportunities, and the sales journey.

Allow enough data to accumulate before creating more pages. High impressions with low click-through may indicate a metadata opportunity, while traffic without conversion can point to intent, offer, or experience problems.
